The Park of State Circus was founded in 1960, on a surface of 26 ha, with a relief data very interesting, it being a zone almost man-made, on the purpose to give more importance to State Circus building.

The perspectives created by the vegetal material diversity and the presence of the water mirror suppose the manifestation of a real interest for visitors of this park.
The design project of the State Circus Park was designed by Mr. Valentin Donose architect, who purposed himself to change the aspect of this area (an old garbage fossa), into a valuable agreement zone.

From the State Circus building to the water mirror there were created big lawn areas which descended in the easy slope and these were opened to the view as far as to park limits.
The gradient is developped to the park area and it is connnected gently with the rest of territory and also with the lake’s gradient which has sufferred an essential change by the slopes appeasement in order to rehabilitate the ancient aspect of the fossa lake.

The terraces designed in a successive manner make a gradual passing from the superior levels of the area to the most frequented zone from all around the lake.
In the rest of the area, the alleys are distributed following the plot of land configuration and offerring pleasant walking and rest areas, with various and interesting view points.
There was widespread the vegetal material, it was not crowded in order to create a large and open green area.
A special impression is conferred by the presence of coniferous trees, which can be view from all coins of the park.
A strengthen and attractive point of the park is represented by the artistic sculptures made in the trunks of the dry trees that demonstrate a real talent, originality and creativity of art designer Mr. C. Teodorescu.
